iMicro SP-IM942 Review - Super Inexpensive Headset with Microphone

Can't beat the price, only $4 on Amazon now. I bought it as a backup in case my Plantronics .Audio 326 headset is broken. This one has all the basic features. For the Price it is a great deal, I think.

I was a little worried about that the microphone was cheaply made and picked up noise, because there were some bad reviews. When I tried it on my pc and used it to chat with my friend on Skype, I found the reviews were not fair. The microphone is sensitive enough for me to speak clearly.

Compared to the standard pc headsets, the sound quality are in the average level. While listening to music or gaming, the sound is clear and loud. I tested it out in several games. I'm not expert on sound quality, but this headset's was as good as my Plantronics 326's. Some people reviewed about the bass. Are they serious? It only costs $4! It is definitely worth the price. Though there is no bass, the sound quality is quite good for me. While listening to music or gaming , I don't care about the bass at all.

The iMicro SP-IM942 seems all plastic and not sturdy. It is extremely lightweight. The ear pads fit my ears very well. Some people reviewed that it is a little tight, but it is comfortable for me. I wore it daily and didn't experience any discomfort at all.

All in all, I recommend the iMicro SP-IM942 headset as a backup set. If you just want an inexpensive headset with microphone, get it on Amazon.

iMicro IM320 USB Headset with Microphone Review

If you like to chat on Skype, it was important to have a headset with microphone that is great voice quality. I have owned some brands such as Plantronics, Turtle Beach, etc.. Their headsets are awesome and perfect, but a little expensive. Sometimes I had some issues with them when I was making internet phone calls on PC. Though I am not a fan of Microsoft, I have to admit that the iMicro IM320 meets with my satisfaction and the price is really a great deal.

The mic is adjustable. You can bend the mic of this one any ways you want. I usually went out for a travel and just toss the headset in my bag, the microphone of it was not broken. It provides an extremely clear and loud sound. I use Skype to make calls on my computer. The calls quality is really perfect and there is no loud noise when I was speaking through it. I couldn't be more pleased with this headset's chatting quality for the price.

As it is produced by Microsoft, It is easy to set up. Just plug the USB adapter of the headset to the pc and It was instantly detected by windows 7 and worked with no additional driver installations.

All in all, this headset is the best USB headset with microphone I have ever owned. And the price is amazing! It costs only 10 dollars on Amazon. If you simply want a high quality headset with chat feather for common-use, this is one of your best options.

Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 Headset Review

I wanted a good quality headset for gaming, listening to music and watching movies. Though I am not a fan of Microsoft, I have to admit the LifeChat LX-3000 very much meet with my satisfaction and the Amazon price is a great deal.

The mic is my favorite component. It has noise cancelling feature and doesn't pick up the background noise. The voice quality is very great. My friend told me that I sounded clear and loud on Skype.  The noise-canceling really works. There is a very noisy ceiling fan in my room in which I use my computer. My last headset would always pickup on this. But the LX-3000 does a good job cancelling out the noise. It just picks up my voice most the time.

The sound quality is fantastic for the price. For $30 you get clear, crisp and loud sound and a surround sound in your ears. It is much better than my last headset as far as the bass response for music.

I bought it for my pc, but it works great with Mac OS 10. You can use it for general use and through Google Voice as well.

Compared to some other headphones I had worn, they are the most comfortable headsets and don't make my head ache after a couple of hours wearing it. Some people has reviewed that they are a little tight. I have not feel any discomfort while putting this headset on my big head for 4-hours gaming. The item adjusts to your size head and the pads fit around your ears.

My only complaint is that the cord curls and I have to stretch it out. I hit it with my arm several times.

All in all, this headset is good and fits all what I wanted. I would recommend this to people who are on a budget. It beats those overpriced 50-100 dollars headsets that don't sound much better, but more expensive.
