Turtle Beach TBS-2214 Review

Wore these headsets with three month of use. They were not so fragile as those reviews reported. There were a couple of reviews saying that the headsets were not worth the price and the quality was poor, not as good as other gaming headsets on the market. Please trust me,  I have tried them out, these headset are OK. I threw them in my bag or dropped them on the ground some times, they were not broken.

First of all, I won't complain about the comfort. It is comfortable to wear for long hours of gaming and listening to music without being tight. I could keep them on for 3-4 hours before my ears get hot. In fact, I feel them a little heavy on my head. I like the pads which are soft and fit my ears very well.

Second, the sound quality is awesome. They are legitimate 5.1 headset and work well with my sound card, the stereo sound is amazing! I tried it with several different games, sounds were pretty good, with a lot of bass. I had no issues while gaming or listening to music.

Third, the microphone is good quality, The calls quality is excellent. According to people that I was talking to, my voice is clear and loud. Since I began using the TBS-2214, my voice have not been hoarse.

Fourth, the cord is long enough for me. It's detachable at a good length for wearing it portably. The control is easy to use, I like the volume button on the cord.

My only complaint is that they look awful. They looked pretty ugly when I was wearing them, my girlfriend said.

In the end, It is good, but not perfect for the price, I would recommend these if you do not care the style and are looking for 5.1 for your PC.
