I wanted a Bluetooth headset for listening to music with my iPhone 4S. I disliked the Over-ear or On-The-Head wear style. Both of them didn't feel comfortable for my ears. So I decided to look for an In-ear wear style Bluetooth headset. After reading a couple of reviews and doing some research, finally I bought the Sony DRBT100CX, which had perfect sound quality, comfort and long battery life as the reviews reported. The headset really worked well with my iPhone 4S for me. The sound quality was awesome and the battery life was excellent. I couldn't be more satisfied with my purchase.
Sony DRBT100CX Review - Bluetooth feature
The Bluetooth version is Ver. 2.1 which supports A2DP, HFP Ver. 1.0, AVRCP and HSP Ver. 1.1. It works well with the most Bluetooth enabled devices, such as iPhone 4S, iPad 2, Samsung Galaxy Note, Sony Xperia x10, etc. The setup is easy and quick. I have no issues on pairing it with my iPhone 4S.
Sony DRBT100CX Review - Sound quality
The sound is fantastic when I use this headset for listening to songs. Sony is good at sound quality, I always think. The sound quality is clarity and high. I am not a audiophile, but I think the sound quality of the Sony DRBT100CX is better than other Bluetooth headsets that are in the same price range. The call quality is excellent when I use it for making calls with my friends. I heard little noise while chatting with them. It sounded like they speak in front of you. For the microphone features noise-reducing that reduces the noise and echo to the min, my voice sound clear and loud according to the people on the other end.
Sony DRBT100CX Review - Battery life
The battery of this headset is supposed to last 6 hours for non-stop use. The standby time is more than 200 hours as advertised. In fact, it has up to 5 hours talk time and I have to charge it everyday. It comes with a stand USB cable that is Convenient to charge by connecting to the computer.
Sony DRBT100CX Review - Comfort
Some people don't like the In-ear wear style headsets for the headsets can easily fall off. This doesn't trouble me. The size of the ear buds just fit my ears very well. My headset never fell off my ears when I was making a cell phone call.
All in all, the Sony DRBT100CX is the best In-ear Bluetooth headset I have ever worn. It seems to be the best balance of everything: Comfort, battery life and sound quality. I would recommend it to you if you are looking for a Bluetooth headset with best sound quality under $100.
